Getting under the hood

We love hoodies – Could they ideally be worn to school? Who isn’t just jealous of those who can choose what to wear every morning? But wearing a uniform does make life easy and allows the lazybones to get those extra few minutes of sleep. J is an early riser while A tends to be a big grumpy in the morning. We digress, back to hoodies…
Here’s a list of some of our current favorites:
We plan on wearing this every Saturday and Sunday. You can choose it as a sweatshirt (why?) or a hoodie (obvs) and it comes in tons of colours (by tons, we mean 16). We can’t decide if we prefer the ‘match the wall colour’ beige or the ‘may my eyes’ light blue.
This one doesn’t really need to be explained, does it? If you got cash to splash, there’s Brandy Melville, the American preppy brand. They’ve got really cute sweatshirts that range from basic hoodies to ones with some of the classic American cities. The only problem with the site is that it’s a got min £100m spend to get free shipping, which is not parent friendly.
We love the stripes on this one and it’s more muted colours fits our slothy mood.
This is the same one but in block colours. Love the range of pastels it offers and it’s just very soft.
This channels PandaSloth vibes with the beige body and brown sleeves. We do love some colour block and the muted colours go with everything.
Basic with a twist – nice little tag detail at the bottom with saying ‘Never give up, Always be ready for mng 1984, best way to stay alive.’ We’re not worried about staying alive – gotta say that the streets we live on aren’t exactly mean but still the first bit applies. Again great muted vibes.
They have some other hoodies with sayings on the chest with things such as ‘Good things are coming’ and again the colours are just perfect.
Really like the pink in this ‘Daily Reminder’ hoodie because it’s not overly Barbie. It does have a longer text on the back explaining the Daily Reminder that you can start the day with a positive mindset, practice gratitude and take some daily breaths. All things we like but don’t always achieve.
